The plot was a bit cluttered since they took the storylines of completely different characters from the comic and put them together into a unified storyline. Usually only a few characters are introduced and focused on within a movie. But since they introduced several, they had to make sure it all fit together. So, it wasn’t exactly the same as the comic but I still thought the movie was good overall.

The emo Peter thing was a bit weird but entertaining (especially that one scene). A couple of fight scenes also occurred during this part of the movie. I guess this is how they decided to emphasize the fact that the alien symbiote had affected Peter/Spider-Man.

I enjoyed it for the most part. Met up with a few friends and we went together. Most of the cars were 2007 models from local dealerships. Some of the modified cars were provided by local people and there was a Lotus Elise on display owned by a local guy. Will Castro (Speed Channel), the Oriole Bird (Baltimore Orioles) and a few other local celebs were there…although, they were not there when we went. It was fun to sit in cars, especially the Mustangs and Corvettes.
