MemberAnother way to get a specific version of Yahoo? Type the following URL in the address bar of your browser:
http://download.yahoo.com/dl/installs/ymsgr/ymsgr_1228.exeReplace the 1228 with the specific build you want, and you can get older versions. Hat’s off to http://www.wackyb.com for the tip!

Welcome to BigBlueBall, jdjonas. You’re always welcome to share your discoveries, but please keep the posts on topic. It would be better if you added your smiley code discovery to one of our smiley topics.
One other note: Don’t post links to sites with booter info. We don’t support booters here.

The only thing that I have found that you are able to do is download other emoticons to replace the ones on your messenger. They have a few different zip files on this link plus a winzip with the original emoticons should u get tired of the ones you downloaded. This link will provide you with better info, than i can give you
http://www.sector101.fsnet.co.uk/yahoo/
just copy and paste into your brower address or type it in then check it out Good luckUmmm…. that’s cool misswebby, but those are only for Yahoo! Messenger… and THIS topic is about MSN Messenger (look up…see the heading???). Thanks, but you still can’t change the emoticons in MSN Messenger.

That sounds even better that the BBQ split chicken halves I had at Jeff’s house last weekend (one of the bennies of living so close by).
Is there a BigBlueBBQ in the works?

MemberIf someone buys the smileys from you, do they “own” the smileys? Can they redistribute them to their friends so they can see them too? Can they resell them?

Innocent_lady,
Ma’am, your concerns regarding IP addresses in both this forum and others borders on paranoia.
You have Zonealarm install, I assume you have a anti virus app installed, That being so you have a far greater risk of falling pregnant this year than by being hacked deliberately because of your personality or ID within the next 3 years. Please, relax, enjoy the medium, you are only making yourself unhappy by listening to bad information regarding IP addresses.I agree with Rustedtight. With a decent antivirus application and ZoneAlarm installed, you should be fine. Don’t assume that because ZoneAlarm detects IPs trying to reach your computer that they are the cause of your computer problems. ZoneAlarm often has the effect of making people more paranoid that before, only because you can see all this network traffic that you didn’t see before.
The thing to remember is that with ZoneAlarm, it’s very easy for you to deny those IP addresses to communicate with your computer. In simple terms, YOU are in control.
BTW, I chatted with Jeff about this, and he agrees.

MemberAlright, I see Fanatic needs to step in and clear things up…
Here’s how you use the emote file listed above:
Click to download. If you’re running IE, choose the “Open” option show here:
This will open the WinZip self-extractor. If you’ve installed Yahoo Messenger to the default directory (under C:Program FilesYahoo!Messenger), then all you have to do is click “unzip.”
Now the emotes are installed. To use emotes, you must be in a Yahoo chat room (they aren’t available in IM). Here is the emote button:
Once you click this, you’ll see the emote list appear as shown below.
It should now contain a much longer list of emotes, some of which include special symbols, colors, etc. Have fun!

MemberChewy, click the search link on this page and do a search through the forums. We’ve discussed it previously in the Yahoo forum, and there are links to it as well as a description of what it does, etc.
