I really like the Twilight saga. ‘New Moon’ is my favorite book, and I can’t wait for the movie. Stephenie Meyer’s first adult book, ‘The Host’ is really good too.
kelseycMemberIf I’m at work, I’m usually talking to about 2-3 people. But other times, or if my coworkers don’t have any questions for me, then it’s usually only one person.
kelseycMemberI think video IM has become more popular with the rising popularity of Skype. I use video IM occasionally to talk to my boyfriend, who lives over 100 miles away.
kelseycMemberIf I’m working on freelance work or things for my full-time job, then I have it on. Otherwise, if I’m just browsing the internet, then I don’t have it on. I do most of my chatting during the day while I’m at work.
kelseycMemberVen0m, I think that you’re using social networks for the exact reason why they were created– to share, learn, and upload. While some people mainly use social networks to keep track of what their friends are doing, and you just use them to keep track of photos and bands. I really think that social media isn’t a “fad”– I think it will stay a regular part of the internet.
kelseycMemberIf you want to talk to several different people on different chat networks, I’d recommend Digsby. I really like it and talk to people on Facebook Chat, AIM, MSN, and Google Talk.
However, if you want a hosted instant messenger, I’d recommend the IM client that I freelance for– Brosix. You can download the free version at Brosix PUBLIC Instant Messenger

Myspace was seen as the thing you did in high school, and once you went to college, you moved onto Facebook. That’s less true now — people just skip myspace entirely. That’s a really good point– and I totally agree. Do you think Facebook should have opened themselves up to anyone with an email address? Sometimes I don’t think they should have, but I guess now that I am graduated from college, I can appreciate still having Facebook, and having my mom and brother on there (who is in high school).
kelseycMemberI really like Facebook chat since one of my good friends (and former roommates) can use Facebook while she’s at work. This lets us talk online (I use Digsby) and stay in touch, even though we live over 2 hours apart.
kelseycMemberI like the ‘Old School’ original ones the best- the ones that look like the sideways smileys “:)” , even though the other ones are much more colorful.
kelseycMemberI didn’t even know that there were IRL clients for the iphone! There is truly an app for everything! Do they have IRC clients for the Pre yet?
kelseycMemberEnterprise instant messaging is on the rise– as more and more companies become worried about security of online communication, the more secure they will want I’m to be.
kelseycMemberHey lozanno, I tried to go to your blog but I don’t speak your native language! Do you have an engloish version?
kelseycMemberI use * *’s a lot. 😀 But, eventually, I usually only use IM sarcasm with people that I know will get it! There is a select few, but believe me, I know that they are out there!
kelseycMemberThis is really fun. A friend showed it to me and I had a great time using it, until there were some terms that I wasn’t sure what it meant. I kept it on ‘pirate’ for a while, and then eventually switched back to the “landlover” language. 😉
kelseycMemberLOL, over 10,000 views! Gee, I wonder why! My iPod touch has an wallpaper application, but I can honestly say that THAT was never my wallpaper!
