oh, ok thanxs! I waz thinking someone waz on my aim account. Thats kinda what I figured but I just wanted to be sure! Thanxs again.
Well, I say go back to AOL and ask for another password. Say you lost yours again. If you can’t get it back did you save your aim buddy list to yuor computer and if so you can get a screen name close to your old one and upload your saved buddylist file to your new screen name.
It does. It will show yourself with a away message but it won’t show you going idle or pop up or anything.
Well, see I have dial up and if I leave me computer on with my aim up when I come home it usually logged me off by itself why is that and how can I help it?
Yes it will. I have Aim on my cell phone and then when I get home I will sogn online and it will send one to my house and one to my phone so yes even though your not forwarding you messages it still will say you are logged on in 2 places now if you log on two seperate screen names I am not sure but I don’t think you will get a message since you have two different screen names.:)
So how does this whole thing work exactly?? I mean….not everyone has Windows XP..so even if they don’t can they still download gaim…Whats soo different about aim and gaim..is all that is different is the file transfer?? There is some many cracked up versions of dead aim…I mean I really don’t underrstand why ppl need it soo bad?? But whatever…all i wanna know is what this whole gaim is all about if someone could fill me in that would be great! Thanxs;)
ok i get that but Im talking bout the old Dead aim sorry 4 if I confused you. yet I am somewhat confused myself bout somethings.
CrystalI am confused because I mean what is with all this 4.0 or 5.0 or 5.2 what does it all mean and where can u find out what type u have?
