Well I use Pidgin, and it’s doing the same thing in Pidgin. When you get info for an offline buddy.. a “user is not available” dialog used to come up..but now it doesn’t.. I can still see their away message when they are offline. It does say their status is offline though.
I cleared the things in each folder in teh bartcache folder..there were a lot of files, is it ok to clear them..? i haven’t seen a problem with the smilies.
Ok, well, there’s like 1,500 songs, and every single one is AZ under artist. This is actually ocurrring on a friends computer, we are trying to fix it, I’m going to have him run a free virus scan and see what it finds and what we can cleann.
dude..im saying..that wen its showing all the songs…you kno the artist column…well it doesn;t say the artist…it just says “AZ” for everyone
why do we have to reinstall AIM when downloading 5.2.3292???? and did anyone find ne bugs in the new update???
hey..I hate that 1024 character limit…..There has to be a program out there that gives u unlimited space…my friend has a long profile and said his deadaim gives him unlimited space….is that tru?? are there actual programs out there that will give unlimited??? and 1KB of info is not enough lol…hope someone will respond
hey…lol…all u do is keep dead aim installed and go to the programs list after clicking start and go to dead aim and click repair dead aim and wala its back!
nah lol…I have a cable modem…Comcast is my internet provider…i wouldn’t want Earthlink…Thanks anyway.
hey can you explain to me what redirect meta tags actually are?…and like how to use them and stuff…hope to hear from you soon…later
Hey..It wasn’t a program I downloaded…It was a file called “Info” that I edited which consisted of my profile..Here are the steps to getting to it:
1)Right click Start
2)Click Explore
3)Click Windows folder
4)Click Application Data Folder
5)Click AIM Folder
6)Click “(Your Screen Name)” Folder
7)Then Click the HTML Document “Info”
8)Right click in any part of the page
9)Click, View Source
10)Then you can edit your profile using HTML in there.You gotta play around with it a lot lol…It sometimes screws around with you lol…You must have AIM totally shut down when doing it.
I hope this helps lol…Yes this is IE6…and no i didnt try uninstalling it and reinstalling it…and dont feel like going thru that.
