You need to set your Preferences from Mic to Wave under your Sound Device.
I have a Sound Blaster Live!, so it is really easy for me to do so.
If you post your Audio Device, I am sure some one can help show you how to change your mic to wave.
The only way I know of, getting a Yahoo! IP off YCHT is by sending a link to the room w/ your ip coded to it, listening to an open port.
Or, by Yahoo! Voice, but unfortunately the voice method only goes to
random Room’s and is unable to grab specific IP’s, no one has done
anything more on that exploit, that I am aware of
I highly doubt, that this person is able to corrupt a cookie, like that…
Perhaps, you might want to uninstall-reinstall Yahoo! Messenger,
Then change the following information under your account Preferences,(This Will Re-Code The Cookie)
Change your Password, Zip Code,Prompt For Pass
That will in a sense change your cookie.
You might also try doing this,

Replace Y= with your cookie, if you don’t know your cookie, there are plenty of tools available to retrieve it..

What Kind of router are you using?
Also make sure you have the following ports open, 5100,5101,5000,5001,5050,5051If they are all open and you still aren’t connecting, perhaps your router is not allowing your slave computer to access those ports.
When you try to connect to yahoo messenger? what happens?

My Fix involves a little registry work, so if you are up to it follow the steps below.
start->run->regeditHKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareYahooPagerDefaults
Create a New DWord Value of Enable Voice
Dword Value=1
That should make Voice Come on.
Also if there is a dword of Disable Voice with a value of 1,
make it a 0.What Operating System are you on?
Are you running a firewall?
Do you have a packet sniffer?

Since that is what the audibles use.

If you are on a mirrored site, you are most likely listed on some yahoo site as being a “CAM WHORE”
Hence, a lot of ppl asking to see your cam when you are not in a chat room.
