Am i missing something?Dependant upon which time you downloaded the program, there was another release shortly after I uploaded it(yesterday) I found that problem as well, and it should be fixed.
I will have a quick look over, if not.

April 15, 2005 at 4:47 pm #106498UnSaKreDMemberNo, yahoo is experiencing problems or updates on its webcam servers, possibly more protocols are being updated. Not entirely sure as of yet.
April 16, 2005 at 3:11 am #106647NessaParticipantOkay, due to the fact that i had to do a system restore on my computer, it un-installed my buddyspy, and i just clicked on the downloading link and it takes me to an error page, is it just my computer or is the site down? And if its me, what can i do to change that so i can download it?

April 16, 2005 at 4:30 am #106499UnSaKreDMemberThe site is down, currently….
April 21, 2005 at 3:58 pm #106443NettiMemberUnsakred, I got one for you. This is so funny and I’m not even sure that this has been brought up, althought it might have been.
I had to install an HP printer on my laptop, which contains buddyspy. When I ran the installation disk the first thing that kept popping up was “uninstall buddyspy” window. So I’d cancel out of it, and tried installing again, thinking I must have accidentally clicked some button, but then the same thing happened. So I went to HP and downloaded the driver fro there, and I’ll be darn if the “uninstall” screen for buddyspy pops up again.
It finally dawned on me, that whatever uninstall file name you use, is the same thing that HP uses when searching to install my printer driver.
So I had to uninstall it, try to install the printer, then reinstall buddyspy. Of course I couldn’t find it cuz all the servers are down. But I finally got it reinstalled. Just saw the post here, and wanted to let you know.
It’s a great program by the way. I’ve tried a few, but couldn’t stand the setup. Yours is a beautifully designed and readable program. However currently having a few server issues I think as there are a lot of false positives, but I’m going to wait until yahoo settles their butt down.
Keep up the good work.
April 22, 2005 at 3:36 am #106500UnSaKreDMemberThat is pretty funny netti..
I just got my domain backup, so now I can finish up 2.2 only one feature left to finish(auto update) Here are some screen shots…
April 22, 2005 at 2:15 pm #106444NettiMemberOnce again the superb design continues. Can’t wait to get the new version. Finally a program design that’s easy to read and NOT in black. Looks like some great added features.
May I ask how you send the beta 2.2 version?? thru messenger file send? or thru email?
April 22, 2005 at 7:21 pm #106502UnSaKreDMemberHi Netti,
I am glad you like the design, it took me forever to come up with one, that I liked.
I have been contimplating showing some screen shots of ones that didnt make the cut. lol
As to download the new beta, theres a link provided on the first page of this thread.
And I just uploaded a fresh beta of Buddy Spy 2.2, with the Auto Updater, to make things a bit easier…
April 22, 2005 at 10:01 pm #106644deftry00MemberHi UnSakred,
I dl the Beta zip file from the first page of this thread but couldnt install it.
April 22, 2005 at 10:04 pm #106503UnSaKreDMemberInstall is easy, right click extract to new folder, run Buddy Spy.exe, if you encounter the Run Time Error 429, buddy spy will attempt to register PacketsLib.dll, if that fails.
You will need to do it manually, untill I find a good Install Packager. -
