umm it was defective. it had finally taken its toll on the computer and made the internet stop working. we thought it was the internet provider but they said that it was Dell and so we called Dell and they said it was Linksys and when we called Lynksys they put us thorugh all these tests and finally came to the conclusion it was the router. we had to send it bak and they are sending us a new one. we havent gotten ther new one yet but without the router my aim is working perfectly fine now. so there ya go.
mine did that too. we found out it was the router. it was defective so we had to get a new one. do you have a router?
ive said this many times before. i bet you have a router cause when i had that problem my router was causing the trouble. justy reset the router when you sign online and everything will be fine.
milps is talking about imchaos. thats where you can have the profile spy tool where it shows you who has looked at yourinfo (if they click on your link) and then if you want the owner of the profile can decide if he or she wants to check out where they live by showing you on a map of the persons location. but thats on imchaos. that is not a prgram where it mods too so i duno what you’re talkin about there.
cant you just go into Tools>Internet Options>Colors(in the general tab) and pick the colors you want for links and visited links?
thats good thinking actually..but it doesnt work if you want to know who has you on their list without wanting to even speak to them.
thanks Sathallrin for the help. i will look in the ownser manual. and djhyperbyte, if you noticed i did look at that post and ask for help but no one did help me. thats why i posted this topic.
ok so i understand now about the ports but when the guy was asking about what port aim uses because he needs to set them to his router and firewall (or something) how would he do that? because my router is giving me a lot of problems with aim and i thought maybe if i did what that guy wanted to do my aim would be better. (unless im totally wrong, then you can tell me it wont work) thanks.
