no after about 5 minuts of my friend not responding to what i have been saying “hello??” “where are youuuuuu????” “are you there” my friend will finally say are you there? and i say yes…didnt you get my IMs? (then i will copy and paste the IMs i wrote and send them to him and he says “no i never got them” it doesnt happen a lot maybe like once a day. its just very annoying. and this does happen to mroe than one of my friends. its happened to about 5 different people from my buddyliost when i talk to them.
you could use IMchaos.com. they allow you to put pictures in your profile but its not the best quality.
thanks for the help but i dont have quite the same problem as you. its the same general idea but not exactly the same. i can talk to my friends but throughout the convo my IMs wont get through to who im talking to and vice versa. thanks for the help tho!
but dont people still give out the older version? the 3.x one? on like oldversions.com or something like that? i was on the jdennis.net forums too and it said something about how its not given out anywhere..dont they know about oldversions.com by now? its been said all over this forum.
uhh maybe it isnt a router issue but it gets the job done. if he wants to fix it without gettting into the problem too intensly then just reset the router. dont doubt me david.

ive said this a lot on this forum and ill say it again.
i had this problem and someone told me it was the router but they didnt know how to fix it. so when i sign onto aim immediatly after i reset the router. i help the little circle thing in for about 10 seconds and then aim is fine for the rest of the time you’re online.
everytime you sign off and then back on later in the day or whatever you will have to reset the router or if you are someone who stays online all day all night everyday then just reset the router every 24 hours.
i have the router at my computer and it works but if your router is at the other computer in your house im not so sure if it would work but try it. i swear it works and keeps you online for as long as you want to be. i dunno why it works but it does,trust me
