i believe someone made a program to show you who is invisible on your buddylist. maybe your friend has that program. also its not entirely impossible to find out who is invisible. not that I do this, but your friend might have typed your SN into the profile box and checked if you’re on.
what programs do that? ive never heard of them…
besides, this girl isnt computer smart. I doubt she has any programs running that go along with aim.
the not seeing the awayer in her profile has been going on for a long time but I just noticed that I see her away on one sn and then she was on her mobile phone on my other sn. I didnt try re-adding her and adding her again. I will tho.
i dont know of a program but you’ll know if you’re off someones list because if they’re away and you IM them, if their awayer pops up in the IM box then you’re on their list. if it doesnt then you probably arent. ofcourse you have to remember that some people coudl have it checked to ‘insert in personal profile only’ then no one will recieve the away msg. most people that I know of dont have that checked tho.
are we talking about signing on in 2 diff locations? I can still do it. im using aim version 5.5.3583
messaging while away no longer works since you’re able to go invisible. you have to use deadaim 4.0 and a certain aim version to message while away.
i forget which aim version.
thanks yall..i did what dr drrae said and when I made the sounds lower it changed them to sound weird. so ill just keep them as is. thanks for explaining it thoroughly tigerblade.
