Miranda’s MSN protocol is always being updated so I’ll say yes to that one. But it’s Yahoo hasn’t been updated in a year and is now dead.

Jesus Yaho updates it’s protocol and forces users to upgrade and all the rumour mongers start churning out their usual ****. “There’s a new messenger coming out”, “they are blocking third party clients” sheesh get a life, they are just updating the protocol.

Actually you can have the same smilies on the pro version. I editted Zaz’s ultimate emoticons pack to show all MSN smileys, including the 6 hidden ones, all 64 Yahoo smilies, all AIM smileys (except the alleged hidden 2,500), and recently I updated the ICQ smileys to use those from MCPE’s pack. I have also given it jabber smileys based on the exodus client and used the original Trillian smilies and sounds for IRC.
There’s more than enough free multi messengers out there such as EasyMessage and Miranda for people to rush out and buy one.
Try miranda as that supports jabber and as it uses third party plug ins it’s usually very upto date with the protocols (apart form yahoo’s 🙁 )

Trillian Pro 2 final uses YMSG11 so if you are still getting this message you are either not on the final version or for some reason your Yahoo.dll didn’t get updated.
Why do people always think that if a person has your ip then they have your soul? OK slight exageration but you get my point. So long as you have a firewall the only thing a person can do with your IP is a DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) and knock you offline maybe.
No a person cannot get your name and address from your ip.
They cannot gain access to your PC so long as you have a firewall. And even without one it’s not that easy (unless you run XP and it’s plethora of holes, look up msBlaster and UPnP for details).
As for Yahoo webcams I believe you get an alert box when you using it pointing out that the ownership of transmitted images is a grey area of the law.
4 digit ages? damn they ued to allow 90 if you editted the HTML 😀 actually I still think 4 is possible but nothing longer.
