Missing +/’ but that may of been added since this page was written.
carbonizeMemberAmy do you mean this plugin as mentioned in the very first post of this thread?
hatedjealousy wrote:Also a good plug-in for version 8 can be found here. It gives you the easiest access to ALL yahoo smileys including hidden ones without having to copy or paste. Great add-on!carbonizeMemberI have them all listed at http://www.carbonize.co.uk/Yahoo/smileys.php
carbonizeMemberAs to them stealing your friends YM account odds are they used the recover password function. I mean most partners will know enough about their partner to be able to answer the password recovery questions.
carbonizeMemberOf course the best thing to do is stop downloading stupid programs as that is where this trojan tends to come from. If idiots didn’t download stupid programs they wouldn’t be getting infected. Most of the reports I have had of this virus are from people who have downloaded booters for Yahoo and I say they deserve what they get.

I have been using YahELite for over 2 years and th eonly time I have been booted by a non serverside boot was back when somebody discovered a bug in the unicode, YahELite being the ONLY third party chat client with unicode support. The only thing that can boot YahELite is a serverside boot which can also boot any other client.
I only recommend Yazak if you have a lot of free resources on your coputer.
carbonizeMemberI just downloaded the Archive Reader from http://www.shiftthis.net and despite it creditting Fweddy and I in the post the attached program is not ours.
carbonizeMemberAs Fweddy said he wrote the decoding routines and I wrote everything else. There is no limitations the program is freely given in fully working order. I’m not beyond accepting money though or even asking nicely for people to click the Google ads on my site 😉
carbonizeMemberYou could try http://www.carbonize.co.uk/Yahoo/archive.php but it reads the folders in your messenger directory so probably wont do what you want. I did have it let you load any file but it needs the username to decode the file.
carbonizeMemberYou add more by downloading them and placing them in the skins folder located in the trillian folder. They will then be selectable.
carbonizeMemberIE6 is a terrible browser, specially from a web designers point of view. The best alternatives are Mozilla Firebird and Opera. Both of which have pop up stoppers built in as well as tab browsing. But if you insist on using IE despite all it’s flaws and exploits then I suggest using one of the many IE wrappers out there such as avant browser and IE2, all of which offer pop up stopping and more but use the IE engine to display the pages.
carbonizeMemberHmmmmmmmm i don’t know about that. How hard would it be to make a plug in that calls an external program? Plenty of third party Yahoo chat clients have working voice, they do it by hooking into the messenger dlls. So I would say it is possible for someone with a reasonable level of programming skill and slight knowledge of yahoo to code a voice plugin.
carbonizeMemberIt looks like yahoo are trying to bring some order to their chat system. All the chat servers are now xxx.chat.dcn.yahoo.com. In java(YCHT) the xx is jcs, jcs1, jcs2 etc. Chat2, also called DHTML, uses dcs1, dcs2 etc and YMSG just uses cs1, cs2 and so on. I’m guessing DCN means Dynamic or possible Decentralized Chat Network.
carbonizeMemberIf you goto http://login.yahoo.com/config/login and have no problem logging in then your account has a chat ban which means you cannot use messenger nor any chat services but everything else is fine.
