another suggestion I didnt see listed, a chat joiner where you can input the chat room name, exchange and instance.
also maybe some ignore/ban commands for chats and IMs. ignore would temporarily ignore them while ban would put them on a list of screen names you want to ignore permanently.
id like to see some more features geared toward spam in chat rooms as well. similar to pyboticide I guess but maybe this could be done without havent to route aim through a server. some possibilities.. the ability to block links, blocking of specified phrases, or blocking screen names with certain characteristics.
oh yea.. possibility of joining more than 3 chats? although that may not be possible. ill think of some more.
do you mean that you want to use your own original smilies or just some of the other hidden ones? you could create your own but theyre not going to show up on anyone elses computer.
it sounds as if you have already accepted to install the upgrade, the upgrade file downloaded and prompted to install but you’ve been hitting cancel ever since. maybe if you can find where ever it stores the upgrade installation and delete it, the warnings will go away?
exactly, unless of course theyre smart. but most stalkers are stupid anyway. otherwise they wouldnt be stalking me.
that was probably inevitable. so much more people are using the feature now that its in deadaim. I still think we should have every right to remove ourself from a stalker’s buddylist though.
not pointless in my opinion. is there a reg key that you could change to activate it? might not work anyways but its worth a try. I dont have deadaim on this machine so I cant mess around with it.
theres an option in the newer versions of aim that allows users to play their own sounds on other peoples computers. look around in the preferences, theres a way to shut it off so that you only hear the normal sounds.
