Definately ircd-hybrid.
http://www.ircd-hybrid.comhybrid does not make it difficult to keep people away from your server, if you have general knowledge about IRCop commands. Actually, in combination with hybrid-services (hybserv), you can have complete power over every user and every channel on your server – and I know you like that. 😉

I think that one suits perfectly Jeff, but won’t that icon be copyrighted too? 😉
DJHyperbyteMemberNo, you can not because MSN doesn’t rely on a direct connection between users, but on a connection via a server. The only way you can find out is to request a direct connection, like sending a file or viewing a webcam. Then you’ll have to find out what address your computer is connecting to (by using a good firewall or netstat).
However, this question has been asked many, many times before. Just search the forum. 😉
https://bigblueball.com/forums/search.aspDJHyperbyteMemberI often see the question “What is my IP” asked in chatrooms, web forums and real life (yes, I do have one ;)).
So I wrote a very simple PHP script to show you your IP. If you want the source of this script you can e-mail me using the link above this post, although every average PHP scripter will be able to make this.
http://www.masternap.org/dj/ip.phpDJHyperbyteMemberQuote:quote:Originally posted by urxlncI know about this, I also have problems with it, when someone request me voice invitation and I accept it works(100% times), and if I send a request and other accept it doesn’t work (99% times).
I am behind proxy and I connect directly to ADSL from my computer, and I am unable to figure out how!
Any Ideas?
You answered your own question =)
Your proxy doesn’t allow outgoing voice conversations.
DJHyperbyteMemberMistahMan, take a look at http://go.icq.com/.
ICQ2Go! Web-based ICQ – Launch ICQ from any browser!
I believe this bypasses firewalls, however, I’m not sure about that. Haven’t tried it myself.

ur greeted with the same screen as if u go to login to yahoo mail
logos everything
kthx
btw click the link
no info is sent til u login
I have seen many sites like this. Mainly those sites are just on someone’s computer or webspace, and ask you to login with your (MSN) passport.
Whenever you click ‘Login’, an e-mail will be sent to that person with your login name and password.Best way to see if it’s a fake page, is enter your real login, but with a wrong password. If it explicitly says ‘Invalid password’, the chances of it being a real page are close to 99%. If it says nothing, and just goes back to the login page, it’s fake.
Thanks for your post, OpTiMiSt. That’s exactly what I meant. Look at the URL of the page, not the fancy logo’s and whatever it claims to be.
DJHyperbyteMemberQuote:quote:Originally posted by urxlncI belive that the network is not proxy, MSN Messanger listens to port 1965 and it is blocked at the server which is either WinNT or Higher.
I have tested this, the proxy server doesn’t block the port 1965, the MSN will automatically singin on proxy network, even without assinging the proxy port and server names in the settings for Messenger, it by default takes the Intenet Explorers proxy settings.
Now all you can do it hack the server and open the port 1965!
The MSN Messenger servers listen on port 1863, not 1965.
Did you ever try that HTTP-tunnel? 🙂
DJHyperbyteMemberQuote:quote:Originally posted by rustedtightQuote:quote:KaZaA is trying to send/recieve at a higher rate than your connection can handle, so your connection reaches it’s ‘bottleneck’ after a short while, and then disconnects.Actually not correct, the hand shaking between sender and receiver is based on packets received and packets dropped, while you may claim to be the fastest connection, you do not fool the sender. To say this will cause disconnection is to belieive that if one stood in a river with a bucket that allowed nothing to pass thru then the river would stop flowing? No the stream flows, you take from it what you can.
Kazaa is a service to connect peers, it does NOT send/receive any content. If this were so the RIAA would have shut it down the day after it started.I was referring to the program, Kazaa, which is attempting to send/recieve data all the time.
DJHyperbyteMemberQuote:quote:Originally posted by imnottiredum…..the site is coded so it sends the yahoo login to her email ….it asked for ur yahoo login (says must login to yahoo java ….making u think its a yahoo online store…..)
it does work cause i dont know her in real life…and we go in chats and she paste the logins of people and they go wtf… how did u get that….etc
Another reason why you should never fill your Yahoo login information in on a site with unknown source.
Same goes with all the other ones. If you would have to enter your BigBlueBall.com password on my website, would you do it? Of course not!
So what’s the difference with Yahoo.com?DJHyperbyteMemberIf it works (at all), then it will also work on Windows 2000, Windows 98 SE (not plain 98!) and probably even also Windows ME, as long as you tweak MSN Messenger so you are able to start more than one instance.
DJHyperbyteMemberQuote:quote:Originally posted by Snake pliskenno that’s no it. i tried it with a friend and he told me accepted and we waited for awhile and nothing happend but if he send the same file to me it’s no problem i tried trillian 0.73 and pro 1.1 and it’s all the same
You are behind a router, LAN or firewall, which all need configuring for outgoing transfers (and other direct incoming connections) to work.
DJHyperbyteMemberThanks for that link geeker!

DJHyperbyteMemberThere isn’t, AFAIK.
