No, there is no html that can do recording, and especially not any in the limited amount AIM allows.
**however, if someone is viewing your profile from trillian and they have the minibrowser plugin, meta-refreshes in your profile will work for them… This will not work for anyone who views it in AIM or anything else.

Either one of those would work for you as long as you have a free PCI slot to spare inside your computer. I’m guessing you’d just plug it in and boot it up, and you’re set to go. That is how mine worked when I got it off Ebay for $5 (including shipping). And it works great.

Using other programs you can change how this works. For example, using GAIM there is an option to select exactly what you stated. You can have the option to either base idle time on computer use, or based on actauly IM usage.
Its not very stable.. I tried it for awhile, but it would crash very often so I went back to 3.0.. oh well, should be more stable eventually.
Yes.. there is a way to remove yourself from someones list.. That could have been what they have done. To reverse this you just have to add them to your list again.

GAIM has this feature… you just view your own profile when you are signed in, and it tells you the date your screenname was created.
