They got me too! Two of my SNs have been unfairly suspended. I submitted the tech support thing and have now sent an email threatening to sue.
It’s just as wrong online as it is offline. Fortunately online, you can block people or just change your identity and start fresh.
That’s nothing! I’ve had MSNM switch me to Online mode from AppearOffline mode. Though this hasn’t happened since I installed JNRZ Loader.
Make sure your IE security setting are set to Medium. MSNM’s ability to access the games is dependant on ActiveX being allowed to run.
My online b/f has the same problem with his cam. We’re both using the latest version of YIM on WinXP (mine’s Pro, his is Home). His webcam works fine over MSNM 6.2, but looks crappy and freezes in YIM. We can’t access supermode half the time either. Other times it works fine. Yahoo needs to make improvements.
Agh, well I finally got it working again. I can’t get it to load with JNRZ at all. It crashes when I try it that way. I really liked JNRZ’s features, like polygamy and logging on in Appear Offline mode, but it’s just too buggy. I’m back with the universal polygamy patch for now.
edit: Oh wait! This was supposed to be in the AIM forum! I was talking about the new AIM. I was leery about upgrading because of my problems with MSNM. Somehow this thread mutated into an MSNM thread by mistake.
Yeah I’m having trouble with it too. I don’t get crashes, but I do get an error saying it can’t open because it’s not configured right and to reinstall it, which I’ve done, to no avail. So their new version is buggy and needs to be fixed ASAP.
Ah me too! Exactly the same problem! Did you upgrade to the newer version? That’s when my problems started. Reinstalling the old one won’t help either.
edit: Teal, what version of Windows do you have? My friend who has Win98, isn’t have a problem with it. But I’m on XP. Are you on XP too, and is it Home or Pro?
edit: Now it works. I had to redownload MSNM and install it. Right after that I went to Add/Remove Programs and repaired the installation. Then I downloaded JNRZ Loader from another website, and now they seem to get along. For the moment at least.
