MemberUgh, I’ll forgo it then. I have no love of ICQ Pro.
IMQueen
MemberYeah unfortunately IE has sunk its tentacles into IM programs.

MemberWarning sucks. They need to get rid of it. Block suffices nicely.

Member*nods* 🙁

MemberI met a guy online. He’s sweet. We have the benefit of F2F chats with our webcams.

MemberSchools have no tolerance for curiosity or independant learning. They want you to learn their way and only their way.

MemberIt is checked. On some sites, Firefox will fill in the stuff for me, on others it won’t.
IMQueen
MemberOK I understand that. But I wish my stupid Firefox would autofill in the passwords for me like Mozilla does. I know it’s only a beta, but the makers should’ve thought of this. I love Firefox, but it still has plenty of bugs…

MemberI’ve had that problem intermittently with a friend I chat with. One moment we can’t see each others’ custom emoticons, the next we can. We chalk it up to MSN being MSN.
As a side note detn8r, where’d you get that funky skin for your MSNM with the lower right corner broken off your buttons? That’s phat.

MemberI got a Logitech ClickSmart 310, but am giving it to a friend because I got an LCD monitor and the ClickSmart won’t fit on it. The new webcam will be a clipon, also from Logitech.

MemberI’ve used those all-in-one messengers before. They all lack functionality. I stick with AIM and MSNM.
edit: I’ve installed Trillian for use with my ICQ and Yahoo! accounts. But I’ll still use AIM and MSNM for my regular IMing.
IMQueen
MemberAbout time they brought out animated icon support. AIM’s only had it since day one…
IMQueen
MemberWhy would they drop AIM when they just released the new version with all the upgrades?
Quote:quote:Originally posted by ShadowSlayer469I heard from a bunch of different friends that AIM is going to be dropped soon. Although… It may just be a rumour.

MemberYou said you could still log into Hotmail online, so this is what you do: Log into your Hotmail account online, change your password, then log onto MSN Msg with your user name and the new password.

MemberMSN Msg 6.x has known issues with voice chats. Make sure you and your friends aren’t behind a router or other hardware firewall. If you are, it’ll be necessary to configure it to allow port forwarding and you’ll have to find out which ports MSN uses for audio.
