MemberI think you definitely need two cold beverages after a convo like that. Sounds like he/she has had two to many…

MemberSarah your crazy 😛
It is unfortunate that people do some of the things they do. I have to say I don’t know the full story but from what I have read Jeff has done a professional and commendable job on dealing with the situation.

MemberI have a Yskin tutorial on my site right now. It may need to be worked over but the data is all there.

MemberAre you still having a problem with viewing the IMViroment photo album? Also it is possible you have a corrupt file in your cache folder. If this is the case deleting it would fix it. Close messenger. Go to
C:Program FilesYahoo!MessengercacheAvatars
C:Program FilesYahoo!MessengercacheIconAnd delete all of the files in these folders then restart messenger. Also I read Yahoo recommends using Internet Explorer to install the flash player.

MemberIt could be a number of things. Are you using a dialup connection? It seems that dialup and 7.0 haven’t been playing nice together. You said its random, maybe something is triggering it? Possibly when you have mutiple IM’s?

MemberI agree with Shifter. I never liked the graident blue headers. Also the new buttons are great. For me the old buttons were a problem at first. I know this is rare but I run a 640×480 screen resolution due to the fact I use a HDTV for a monitor. So I have to scroll around the screen to see everything. When the last layout came out I was lost for 5min. 😛 lol.

MemberA ok here

MemberI doubt there is one for 7.0 yet as its still a beta and may change some more. I couldn’t find one either.
ToeBee
MemberFirst if you see a smiley wrong its your PC not the person that sent it. Second I think the only real fix is for a complete install. So you will have to use the add/remove a program. Then delete the Yahoo! folder (ussualy its in Program Files). Then restart your pc and redownload messenger.

MemberIt sounds like the problem with multiple webcams is due to your connection speeds. As far as the files being blocked by firewalls (or so they say), that seems to be a problem with v.6 at least with me also. v.7 looks to be much better for this but you cannot file transfer to people who use v.6 if you have v.7.
When your in Yahoo chat and you see webcam icons that means that user has a cam on, but depending on how they have permission set it may automatically decline you. Or the user may have declined you. In either case it will show up on your side as webcam not available.

MemberI found this help page. It may solve your problem. Just make sure you are comfortable with using regedit…

MemberAccording to Yahoo if your webcam is VFW (Video For Windows) compliant it should work. Does it say anything about that on these Aiptek cams?
ToeBee
